Duplicate leads can clutter your database, slow down your sales process, and cause confusion within your team. By identifying and marking duplicates, you can streamline your lead management, ensuring your team focuses on genuine opportunities. 

Let's see how you can efficiently manage duplicate leads on Refrens.


1. Enable Lead Duplication

Before you can identify duplicate leads, you need to enable the lead duplication feature from Business Settings > Lead Management System > Lead Duplication.


Once enabled, the system will start matching leads based on various criteria such as Contact Email, Contact Phone, Customer Name, Client Profile, Client Email, IndiaMART Query ID, or Facebook Query ID.


2. Search for Duplicate Leads


Now that lead duplication is enabled, follow these steps to find and mark duplicates:


2.1) View Lead:


From your lead management dashboard, select any lead to view its details:


2.2) Find Duplicate Leads:

  • Scroll down to the “Duplicate Leads” section of the lead details page.
  • Click on “Get Duplicate” to allow the system to search for potential duplicates.
  • The system will display a list of suggested duplicate leads based on the matching criteria. 

2.3) Mark as Duplicate:

  • To confirm and mark a lead as a duplicate, click on “More” next to the suggested duplicate lead, and Select “Mark Duplicate”.


  • Once marked, you will see “Yes” in the “Is Duplicate” column, indicating that the lead has been successfully marked as a duplicate.
