Refrens has partnered with Complyance to help our Malaysian businesses generate E-invoices. So to get started, you will have to add “Complyance” as an intermediary on your MyInvois dashboard.
You can do this in three steps:
1. MyTax Account Login
2. Director Role Application (Skip if already done)
3. MyInvois Portal Setup
MyTax Account Login
1. Go to the MyTax Portal via the URL https://mytax.hasil.gov.my/. You will see the following screen:
2. Please Choose ID Type as Identification Card No. and provide the identification number:
3. Enter the password:
If you are a first-time user, you will see the following pop-up:
In this case, just click on e-CP55D OR e-KYC to finish your Digital Certificate Registration process.
(Choose e-CP55D to continue digital certificate registration via web. Choose e-KYC to continue digital certificate registration via face identification. For more information, visit MyTax Portal > User Manual > User Manual - Web)
Once this is done, you can log in using the same steps described here. You will see the following screen after logging in:
Director Role Application (Skip if already done)
1. After logging into the MyTax portal, go to the “My Profile” section:
2. Go to Role Application:
3. In Type of Application, select “New Application”:
4. In Type of Role, select “Director of the company”:
5. Enter TIN:
6. Upload a Supporting Document that shows that you are the director of the company:
7. Accept “Terms & Conditions”:
8. Add your Password and click “Signature”:
That’s it! Your application is submitted. Check back within a day or two to check approval status:
9. You will be able to see the status under “List of Role Application”. Once the status changes to “Accepted”, you are good to go. (You will also receive an email once your application is approved/rejected)
MyInvois Portal Setup
1. Firstly, go to the MyTax portal dashboard > Select “Peranan Pengarah Syarikat / Pentadbir Organisasi” (i.e. Director of Company) in the role selection dropdown > Click on “MyInvois”:
You will land on the MyInvois Portal dashboard:
(Note: if you are a first-time Myinvois user, you will have to add your Taxpayer and User details. Go to MyTax portal > User Manual > MyInvoice User Manual for more information.)
2. Go to the profile icon at the top right and under the dropdown option, choose the “Switch Taxpayer” option:
You will be landed on the page below:
Choose the registered company name, and after clicking on switch, you will be dropped again to the MyInvois portal home page.
(Note: If in the “Switch Taxpayer” dropdown, if you are not able to find your registered company name, then you have to follow the process of Director Role Application as discussed earlier.)
3. Go back to the Profile icon > click on “View Taxpayer Profile” > go to “Representatives” section > click on “Add Intermediary”:
You will see the following popup:
In the Name field, write “COMPLYANCE SOLUTIONS SDN. BHD.”. Enter the ‘TIN” and “BRN” as shared by your Refrens account manager.
After providing all the details, click on the search option, and give the e-invoicing period with compliance as 1 year.
You will find that “Complyance” has been added as an intermediary under the “Intermediaries” section.
If you are facing any issues in setting up the intermediary and it is not getting rectified in the given time, you can use the alternative option of registering the ERP under the Representatives section as below:
After giving the requested details, you will get the client ID and client secret details, which you will have to share with your Refrens Account Manager.
