IndiaMART has two types of API keys: 

1) Push 

2) Pull (To be discontinued from June '24)

Firstly, let’s understand the difference between the two:

1) 
Push API Keys: With this, you will get all your lead data in real time.

2) Pull API Keys: With this, your lead data might get delayed sometimes by up to 5 minutes.

The pull API keys are going to be discontinued from June 2024 by IndiaMART. 


So, we recommend you to generate the Push API keys Instead. 


This article is only about generating Pull API keys. Read this article to generate the Push API keys>



To generate your IndiaMart Pull CRM key, follow these steps:

1. Log in to IndiaMart Seller Account: Visit seller.indiamart.com and log in to your account.

2. Navigate to Lead Manager: In your dashboard, go to the Lead Manager section.

3. Access CRM Integration: Click on the three dots menu ( ⋮ ) and select 'CRM Integration'.



4. Generate Key: Click on 'Generate Key' on the CRM Key Generation Page. 



5. Key Confirmation: A unique CRM key will be generated and sent to your registered email address. Note that if the CRM key is not used within the last 15 days, it will expire, and you will need to generate a new one.



Connecting IndiaMart Pull CRM key with Refrens Sales CRM


Once the key is generated, you will need to connect it with Refrens. Let's see how:

Firstly, go to Business Settings > Lead Management System > Third-party Integrations > Fetch Leads From IndiaMart (Pull Integration) > Click "Connect"



The following form will open up:



Just copy and paste your IndiaMart CRM key here, and select the pipeline where you want to manage the leads from IndiaMart.


Once you click on "Connect" one of the two things will happen - either the connection is successful OR it fails. Let's see what you can do if the connection fails.


If the connection fails, you will see the following message:


In this case, re-check the key you entered, see if there are any typos, and then try connecting again. If the connection still fails, see if the key you have added has not been used for the last 15 days after generating the key. In that case, the key may have expired and you will need to generate the key again. 


If the connection is successful, you will see the following message:


If the key is connected, the system will show you the details of the last lead on your IndiaMart account. Please verify if the lead details are correct. If yes, just "Confirm & Proceed".


That's it! now every time a new lead comes into your IndiaMart account, it will also get added to your Refrens sales pipeline.

Just go to Lead Management > Sales Pipelines > Click on "View Leads" to see & manage all these leads seamlessly!


 
Note: With the Pull API key, lead data may take up to 5 minutes to reflect into Refrens. If you want real-time lead data, you should connect your Push API key instead, Learn more about this >
